Privacy Policy — LineTech QuickSupport

This privacy policy explains how LineTech ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the LineTech QuickSupport Android application (the "App").

1. What the App does

LineTech QuickSupport is a service tool that lets technicians connect an Android device to LineTech machines (e.g., LTCB and LTSP series) over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). When a support session is started, the App acts as a bridge between the machine and the LineTech Control Center server, enabling remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.

2. Data we collect and process

The App does not collect personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account information. It does not display ads and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

During an active support session only, the following data is transmitted from the device to the LineTech Control Center server:

• Machine data — data packets exchanged with the connected LineTech machine, including the machine identifier and operational parameters, needed to operate the support session.
• Basic device information — the Android device model, device name, and Android OS version, used to identify the technician's device in the support session.

No location data is collected. The App requests location permission only on Android 10 and below because older Android versions require it for BLE scanning; the App does not read or transmit location.

3. How data is transmitted

During a support session, machine data and device information are transmitted over a direct TCP connection to the LineTech Control Center server. Please note that this connection is currently not encrypted with TLS; we recommend using the App on trusted networks and keeping the device software up to date. LineTech is working toward encrypted transport in a future release.

4. Storage and retention

Data transmitted during a support session is stored on LineTech Control Center servers as part of normal support operations (e.g., session logs and diagnostics). We retain this data only as long as needed for support, warranty, and quality purposes, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only accessible to LineTech personnel involved in providing support services.

6. Your choices

You can stop a support session at any time in the App, which closes the connection. To request deletion of data related to a support session, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children and is intended for professional use by service technicians.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL, with the "last updated" date shown above.

מדיניות פרטיות זו מסבירה כיצד LineTech מטפלת במידע בקשר לאפליקציית LineTech QuickSupport לאנדרואיד (להלן "האפליקציה").

• נתוני מכונה — מנות נתונים המוחלפות עם מכונת LineTech המחוברת, כולל מזהה המכונה ופרמטרים תפעוליים, הנדרשים להפעלת סשן התמיכה.
• פרטי מכשיר בסיסיים — דגם מכשיר האנדרואיד, שם המכשיר וגרסת מערכת ההפעלה, לזיהוי מכשיר הטכנאי בסשן התמיכה.

לא נאסף מידע מיקום. האפליקציה מבקשת הרשאת מיקום רק באנדרואיד 10 ומטה, כיוון שגרסאות אנדרואיד ישנות דורשות אותה לסריקת BLE; האפליקציה אינה קוראת או משדרת מיקום.

3. אופן העברת הנתונים

במהלך סשן תמיכה, נתוני מכונה ופרטי מכשיר מועברים בחיבור TCP ישיר לשרת מרכז השליטה של LineTech. שימו לב: חיבור זה אינו מוצפן ב-TLS כרגע; אנו ממליצים להשתמש באפליקציה ברשתות מהימנות. LineTech פועלת להוספת הצפנת תעבורה בגרסה עתידית.

4. אחסון ושמירה

נתונים המועברים במהלך סשן תמיכה נשמרים בשרתי מרכז השליטה של LineTech כחלק מפעילות התמיכה השוטפת (למשל יומני סשן ואבחון). אנו שומרים נתונים אלה רק כל עוד הם נדרשים לצורכי תמיכה, אחריות ואיכות, ומוחקים אותם כשאין בהם עוד צורך.

5. שיתוף

6. הבחירות שלך

7. ילדים
